Here is what is happening around the District for the week of March 9, 2026.  

Board of Education Meeting 

  • The Board of Education will meet on Tuesday for its monthly work session. 

  • Meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. 

  • Location: Arnold R. Pinkney East Professional Center. 

  • The meeting will also be livestreamed on the District’s YouTube channel. 

End of Third Marking Period 

  • The third marking period ends on Friday. 

  • Let’s finish strong—only one more marking period left before the end of the school year. 

Caregiver Reminder: CMSD Integrated Health Form 

  • Caregivers are asked to complete the CMSD Integrated Health Form if they haven’t already. 

  • This form ensures:  

  • Students can be seen by a medical professional when needed. 

  • Schools are aware of allergies or medical conditions. 

  • Staff know about any prescription medications to keep students safe and supported. 

  • The form is available via QR code or on the CMSD website. 

Looking Ahead 

  • All-City Arts Presents: Fame! 

  • The show-stopping musical will run at Playhouse Square, March 20–22. 

CMSD Shout Out 

  •  Glenville Basketball point guard Theo Castro. 

  • He was named the 2026 Northeast Lakes District Division IV Player of the Year. 

  • Castro recently surpassed 1,000 career points.
